More Than Words (MTW) is a nonprofit
social enterprise that empowers youth who
are in the foster care system, court involved,
homeless, or out of school to take charge of
their lives by taking charge of a business.
By working as a team to manage their own
retail book business, café, and community
space, youth develop the employment skills,
leadership, and self-confidence they need
to successfully transition to adulthood. In
addition to store-based job training, youth are
engaged in personal transition planning and
case management to support their progress
towards employment and education.
Support the MTW youth team running their
business by coming down to find a great book
and enjoy a tasty drink from the café.
MTW runs entirely off donated books, cds,
dvds, and video games, so if you have items
to donate, please stop by any time the store
is open or call for a pickup if you have 10 or
more boxes.

Joseph (Joey) Crugnale is the founder and
owner of Naked Fish. Joey began his career in
the ice cream business, starting with Joey’s Ice
Cream and Steve’s Ice Cream. He then moved on
to develop the successful and popular chain of
Bertucci’s restaurants and the Italian restaurants
Red Sauce. In 1999 he opened his first Naked
Fish to rave reviews, featuring wood-fired
seafood with a Cuban twist, awarded
Nation’s
Restaurant News
’s “Hot Concepts”!
Naked Fish is more than just a restaurant, it’s a
distinct philosophy about both food preparation
and environment. Quality ingredients are
thoughtfully sourced and recipes and techniques
are created to enhance natural flavors without
overpowering or processing, maintaining the
natural goodness in every bite. Diners will enjoy
a delicious, affordable meal in a relaxed and
inspiring atmosphere. Naked Fish also offers
many non-seafood entrees, sandwiches, salads,

Joey loves being involved in every aspect of
his restaurant and he loves cooking. He will
spontaneously create daily specials, some of
which he makes himself, and will often come
out and chat with his guests. His sense of humor
always adds a laugh and enjoyment to an
evening out.
