After three wonderful years in its first location
in Belmont, Gustazo Cuban Restaurant & Cafe
now opens its doors in the center of Waltham
on Main St., overlooking the gorgeous Waltham
Common. Named by many as having the best
Cuban food in the Boston area, Gustazo offers
signature dishes such as the Slow Roasted Pork
(featured in the
Boston Globe Magazine
), Ropa
Vieja, Cubano Sandwich, Empanadas, Yuca Frita
and Flan, as well as many vegetarian, vegan,
and an extensive list of gluten-free dishes.
The decor combines traditional architectural
elements, such as Havana’s colorful cement
tiles and Spanish filigree motives, with
modern-industrial light fixtures and furniture,
giving it a vibrant yet romantic atmosphere.
Gustazo is an independent, chef-owned
restaurant that uses locally sourced products
whenever possible.
